Slowly Put Down the Needles and Step Away from the Plane!

So I survived my trip this past weekend. Thanks partly to some handy dandy Xanax! Actually it wasn't so bad after all. On the way home I even crashed (me... not the plane obviously). I d0 have a great tip for flying knitters. I didn't have any problems bringing my knitting supplies on the plane; I was pretty shocked about how easy it was. However, I did learn that if you are sitting in coach make sure you carry SHORT ass needles or circular ones would even be better! I tried to work on my scarf but there was no way in hell I could have without poking someone in the crotch. Now that would actually be kind of funny to me, but I guess not to the person I assaulted with the knitting needle. Then I'd be probably be arrested, charged and no one would be able to carry needles... what a legend to leave behind.
The trip couldn't have been better! Ash and I had such a great time, I don't think I stopped smiling or laughing the whole time! We didn't do too much just spent time together but one thing I almost pee'd in my pants a couple of times from his silly antics (I'm pretty impressed with my vocabulary skills on that one)
So we did talk about marriage a lot... we are going to go ahead and start planning but nothing will be official until I can get my head around the whole thing. Darn those commitment issues I have now... darn ex-boys! I did hear a great thing about ex's... without X's you can't have O's, pretty cleaver huh?
Back to the happy subject... Ash is coming down in April to see where he will be moving too... wow he is going to hate the Savannah heat. I'm really glad he loves cats because he now has two step-kitties!
Good things never come without some bad things too! I just got my pap smear results back and I have stupid cervical dysplasia again. More reason for me to remind you to go get your yearly check up! It really sucks but it is just something that we have to do! I'm dreading when I get older and have to get the boobies smashed, but damn it I'll do it!
My new knitting project is going to be a cool beanie for Ash. The Main color will of course be black and it will be sporting a sexy white iron cross on the front. One Issue I do have is that he has an extremely big head. I started working on setting up the pattern back in November but with the Xmas knitting it fell to the wayside. Since my scarf wasn't finished when I made it up to Minnesota and it wasn't even cold enough for it.... I have quite a while until it is cold enough for me to actually wear the stupid thing.
I need beanie/skully ideas! I keep asking him for his head size (ok, I can't keep typing this without tell you it is soooo cracking me up) but most men aren't going to run to the store to get a measuring tape for their head!
This is kind of what I'm looking to do:
Oh man you have to check this out! I found something pretty freakin cool, Moo cards! I'm sure I am way behind the times but they would be an awesome idea for random knitting pictures.... even as a blog address card! Not sure if I'll ever get some but what a totally rad idea~
