Drunk Grrl Rant...

Ok.. so since I've had a terrible week I decided to grab a bottle of wine on the way home, this is very unlike me.  However I must say I feel so much better right now.  Boy trouble and just all around pissed off.  I had a cool dress I bought stolen out of my mailbox... yeah the dress is gone, I did however pick up the EMPTY the package it came in off the ground... boy what luck, at least I know I would have gotten a cute dress yesterday.

I totally frogged Ash's hat I was making just to make myself feel better... but did it?  nope!!! now I'm pissed because I spent all that time for a guy that treated me just like my ex did... what's up with men?  Or is it me?  ummmm....

I think I have a fear of being crapped on again...   You want what you can't have?  Well damn it that is me. 

So I know life isn't perfect and all that but hey I've had one too many glasses of wine... I'm blaming my new blog friend Che' for that... ok, I'm kidding...

I guess I just need a hug right now!

OK I decided to stop drinking because I kicked over my glass and broke it... well I guess I'm drunk enough!

New Layout...

OK... sorry for the look of my blog!  I'm working on my own style sheet and its taking a lot of time and trial runs.  Not as easy as I thought it would be! 

So this is my knitting time, working on a damn computer! 

I sure hope it turns out cool... but time will tell.

Cat Overload

Well I've been busy busy busy... I have become a foster mom to four orphan baby kittens.  I found their mother, which was the sweetest baby, dead in the road last Friday morning.  I sat in the road and cried until I realized the kittens where somewhere.... I never did find them but on Wed when I was home sick they found me. Yes the cat woman has MORE kitties to take care of.  Here are all of them on the day I found them...

Today they have grown so much... the little grey one I call Mr. P because he pee'd on me... oops... but here is the only little girl, she is just sweet but not as rambunches as the others...

So I know most of you don't live near here.... but I'm so desperately trying to find homes for them.  I don't want them to end up in the Humane Society with the tons of other kittens or dead in the street.  They are all very sweet and social. 

On the knitting front... I've decided to work on Death or Glory from my new Pretty in Punk book; There are a lot of cute things in there... LOTS of black which makes me happy happy happy.

There are actually two are warmers... I'm doing the crossbone one first... maybe the skull with out the mohawk for the other arm... who knows.

I have to start on a baby booties and blanket for my friend.  I got a suggestion for converse booties which I love but I can only do a chain in crochet and really don't have time to learn more right now.

Not sure what is going on with the relationship front... just going with the flow with the boy.  I've got my wall up again so who knows what I'll end up doing.  If I don't stop it I'll never have a kid... and my clock is ticking... don't want to leave my "estate" to cats when I die.

1. I was born with tons of bright red hair which fell out and became blonde. But my dad told my mom that is the baby had red hair they were giving it away.... I guess I was just too cute.... lol

2. I was named after Rhonda Fleming the actress

3. I don't eat meat but I do however make exceptions for most shellfish... and my naughtly little secret is... I do sneak in at least one Big Mac (which isn't real meat... lol) a year

4. I can touch my nose with my tongue which grosses me out because spit on the face is really icky

5. I only started knitting to get over a guy

6. When I'm mad I walk around the house talking to myself out loud and sometimes things might get tossed

7. My favorite movie is May... it is so disturbing that most people I show it to freak out a little on me....

Break Ups and Knitting...

Billie Holiday - Why not take all of me

I feel like I'm going through guys like I go through underwear... 

Not really sure what happened but I know my fears took over this one too.  After I freaked out about him moving down here so quickly he figured I was still in love with my ex.  I guess when I had to frog the hat I was making him I should have known it was going into the dumps.... or maybe it was the boyfriend "hat" curse.

So going from that I guess the happiness I had is gone and now I have to struggle to pick myself back up and go forward, knowing that there is someone out there that will love me as much as I love him.  However until then I guess I will look into the future knowing I still have my family, my knitting, my job and my kitties.

Speaking of kitties my baby Roxy (an outdoor kittie that kind of adopted me) was hit by a car on Friday... and of course I found her.  She has kittens somewhere but I can't find them anywhere. 

Now I need to figure out what to knit for myself.  Ummm not really sure everytime I try to sit down to go through all my patterns I just feel my mind wondering. 

I did indeed just get the Pretty in Punk Knits book last week.  Maybe I should do something in there.  I love the cool bum flaps!  Something to hid my flat ass... lol

I need to get out of this funk... sometimes I'm just a head-case.  The last two weeks have been really difficult for me. I know that I will come out ok cause we all don't have another choice... pull yourself up and move forward or die... not much of a choice as I see it.

One thing I know is there are so many people out there that has so many more problems than my little ones even though to me they seem to be the whole world.

Well enough self-pity... time to get off my ass and do something.  Smoochies!

New Logos and Shirts

I've been busy working on some cool knitting logos... because there are a lot of use Kick ass Kool Kats out there.... I've also have some old skool tattoo knitting logos in the works...

I've posted some on clothes on cafepress (just click the button).

I just finished a baby hat for my best friends new arrival... coming July 2nd... he should just be able to wear it by winter... Oh I'm excited!

I do want to find some cool baby booties, maybe some little punk ones...
