YES I’ve been very slack with my blog AND my knitting.
I’m still staring at the hummingbird cloth I’ve been working on but it seems like every spare minute I have... hey I AM busy working on my needles. I did a test one on Sunday and it didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted it. Now I know what I fudged up on and I’m attempting it again. This is a real learning experience for me and it is eating up the moneytoo! If it all works out like I want it to than it will totally be worth it.
Here is the banner I have designed… not really sure if it really that great or not.
Wow, so much has been going on in my life I have no clue where to start.
We all have heard the quote “don’t sweat the small things”
What a great saying but most of us live our lives only focusing on those things, I however love to point out the little things and make fun of myself or at least try to find something funny about it.
Yesterday on the way to work while I was clipping my badge to me shirt (now this is a very important part of the story) I noticed that I had put my shirt on inside out. Now we all know how that royally sucks! I did decide that sitting at the red light on a busy highway is not the place to fix the problem.
The next 5 mins I had to drive to the parking lot was torment for me. How the heck am I going to fix this without everyone seeing my wonderful beautiful jewels?I pulled in the lot and just missed our shuttle to the building. Thoughts and plans come flooding my head, now I’m not saying these were great plans either.
So I sat there looking around… wow no one around… should I? Ummmm yeah why not, right?
Well I start to pull off my shirt and while it is wrapped around my head and wrist I realized it was stuck… stuck how? WELL…. dumbass me had clipped my badge to my shirt AND my pants!
At this point the best thing to do would to of course put my shirt BACK on and finish it in the bathroom at work… but no… I kept pulling and searching for that damn badge.
Finally I got myself out of it and the shirt was securely placed back on my body when I remember the worse part…. We have cameras in the parking lot!!!
Well maybe I’ll see myself on YouTube for me 15 mins of fame!
Ok... funny intermission #1 !
Here is something so cool. I was asked to be a cage dancer on Friday at the First Friday Fetish party here in Savannah.
I have to do it, I want to be able to impress my kids(if I ever have any) when they grow up by telling them I was a go-go dancer. I’m kidding but at least it will be a great story for me when I’m drunk.
Here are the boots I bought to wear… how cool are they? I guess I wear my Social Distortion shirt… I told the guy that I was NOT going to dress like some hoochie mamma either!!! This seems like it is going to be one big party.
The Cure has been postponed until May damn it! Robert Smith has writers block. So instead I’m heading out with my friend Will to see the Savannah Derby Devils (roller derby - what a weird word derby). This will be awesome, maybe it will make me forget the loss I will be enduring during my "Cure" mourning period.
This just hasn't been my week... my baby XB got a big boo boo... freakin rocks!
The sun looks wicked in the pic... and no I didn't edit it. I'm not sure what that bright dot is to the left of my big ass crack is but I'm sure its a reflection of the sun.
Funny Intermission #2 (I think this HAS to be one of my fav lolcats)
