Cold War II, Knit Girls and Xmas
First and foremost, The Knit Girls voting for January has begun! It will continue until the 6th and I will announce the winner on the 7th! So go vote at www.badknitgirls.com !
Wow, Xmas is over and I thought that I wanted to spend 2 weeks in ATL but with the parents in a constant struggle over who is right and who sucks is making my trip a less than happy one. I have actually run away to a coffee shop just to get away from the Cold War going on in that house. I feel like I'm 16 years old again dreading to be with my parents. Now don't get me wrong I love them but I hate to see them fighting and my mom crying... UGH, parents!!!!
I did finish all my scarves for the girls at work which rocked and now I'm onto some legwarmers for my friend Leigh. It seems like it will never stop, I got a list of To Do for others that I will be working for them until Xmas comes around next year.
So here is the scarf I made for Barb, I only put fringe on one side but she begged me to put it on both since she is OCD... ha ha
This is the neckwarmer for Shelley, the little intern that helps us out at work
For our admin Becky I used my handspun/handdyed yarn that I've been saving for something special... I just love that girl!
The next one if my Fav... Robin wanted a black cozy one...
Last but not least... Sandy's - She is a red hat lady so I made her a purple one.
Well the meter is running out for my parking space so I gotta run... but make sure you go vote for the girls and may all you knitting kick ass!!!!
