Now do I get a spanking? Knittygirlie where are you when I need one?
I'm going to try to write this while eating the most gawd-damn hot pizza! Who the hell puts jalapenos peppers on a pizza? OK, I'm sure a bunch, but damn- it they are freakin HOT!
You know it is really amazing all the changes in a person's life that can happen in only two months.
First we will hit the Ravelry group front! Man that group has got to be one of the best group of girls and boys ever! It is amazing how we can go from swapping pasties, modeling them, to helping one of our beloved members out in a crisis. The group has been busy knitting & crocheting squares for a comfort afghan her. Lori, you are in all our hearts and minds during her time of pain and sadness. We love you sweet Indulgence.
Let me go ahead and wipe the tears away and try to go on....
FYI: There is now a Knit Girl Blog for any updates and going on in that other world of mine
What a life of a Knit Girl
So because I had way to much drama in my life and so I got rid of all the crappy people... ones that put me down for the stuff I choose to do and for who I am. I will not change because it might offend someone or someone might see my pastie covered boobies. So no more letting others control any part of my life whither it is ex-boyfriends, friends or whoever.... Amazingly once I decided all this within a week I met the most wonderful guy, I swear, in the world. Not to mention he is a fireman, how totally hot is that??? Gets me going that is for SURE!

I'm really not sure what I have done to deserve to have someone care so much about me. I guess waiting these few years for the "right" guy has really paid off. But, I'm not going to get to deep into it with you guys just because there are some people I just would rather not know about my comings and goings but lets just say he spoils me with kindness and thinks the world of me... not sure if I have ever had that in life before... he has put me on cloud nine! Life is a crazy thing once you have completely given up it throws you something you just weren't expecting.
On Friday my new guy told me that we are going on a trip this weekend.... get this, we are going to Denver to see my favorite singer Devil Doll. He has booked everything and has it all planned for ME! Also, Molly that is running for May Knit Girl lives in Denver so I asked the BF if we could stop in the yarn store she works at... he said we could go anywhere I wanted to go! How amazing is he to let me go to a yarn store... poor guy, doesn't know what he is in for!
Then the next weekend I head up to spend a weekend with my best friend in her boat while the boys fish... ok, way to many vacations I will never get anything done at home.
Other than that my parents came down for a weekend and we actually had a freakin great time! I can't even believe I'm even typing that... but they are doing so great and somehow they have turned into these crazy funny people! My dad even wore a shirt that said "Scars are just like Tattoos but with better stories". Mom said he was dying to wear it!!! What goofballs.
Work... well same ol same ol but it looks like I won't be moving back to ATL anytime soon so I guess I need to just start to enjoy what I do! My plan is to go back to school in September and get my Aeronatical Technical Management degree. Then I guess I will be "officially" smart!!!!
Crap on to my not-so-much-knitting life... I've been such a bad knitter girl! Except for the squares on the comfort afghan and pasties I've really not done to much. I had a million stitches drop from my intolerable cruelty skirt when the cable on the circulars came unscrewed. I think that frustrated me so much that I just can't look at it for a little while, but since they yarn cost me a boat load so I really need to get it going again... seems like a good project for the plane ride.
No time to post picture this time but I'll get some in Denver... woo hoo...
